Parents

At AIS, we firmly believe that parents are an integral part of our school community. We value parental involvement and recognize the significant role parents play in their child’s education. We strive to foster a strong partnership with parents, creating a collaborative and supportive environment that benefits our students and the broader community.

There are numerous opportunities for parents to engage with our school community and actively contribute to their child’s educational journey. Whether it’s assisting in the library, helping with special events, or accompanying students on field trips, parent volunteers play a vital role in enhancing the educational experience for all students. We encourage parents to participate in our “Reading with Mommy/ Daddy” program, where they have the opportunity to share their love for reading and storytelling with students.

At AIS, we understand the importance of parental input in shaping the school community and decision-making processes. To ensure that parents have a voice, we have established a Parent Council. This council provides a platform for parents to actively participate in various aspects of school life, including suggesting improvements, contributing to policy development, organizing events, and more. The Parent Council representative, a fellow parent, acts as the voice of all parents, ensuring that their perspectives and ideas are heard and considered.

We strongly believe in the power of collaboration between parents, educators, and the broader community. We actively seek opportunities to engage with the broader community through initiatives such as community service projects, partnerships with local organizations, and involvement in community events. We encourage all parents to be actively involved in their child’s education and the overall school community. Your participation, insights, and support are invaluable in creating an enriching and nurturing environment for our students to thrive. Together, we can build a strong foundation for their academic, social, and emotional development.
