Grades 6–8
Middle School
A transformative stage where greater academic rigor is matched with guidance, inclusion, and growing student ownership.
The Grades 6–8 program increases academic challenge while continuing to support students' social, emotional, and personal development.
CCSS, NGSS, and Ministry requirements shape a comprehensive program in which analysis, inquiry, evidence, collaboration, and communication become increasingly important.

High-School Readiness

Kurdish Language Program
The Kurdish Language Program (KLP) supports students transferring from abroad or from systems where Kurdish has not been taught, helping them develop foundations for Ministry requirements and classroom participation.
English Language Program
The English Language Program (ELP) supports multilingual learners and students moving from other school systems as they develop the academic English needed to access classroom learning.
Inclusion and Individualized Support
AIS may provide individualized support, classroom accommodations, and targeted interventions, with collaboration among families, teachers, and relevant specialists based on a student's learning needs.
Challenge for Advanced Learners
Students ready for greater challenge can engage with enriched learning experiences, higher-order thinking tasks, and opportunities to extend learning beyond grade-level expectations.
Preparing for High School
Middle school supports students in becoming increasingly independent learners and thoughtful problem-solvers.
